Connect with the Democratic National Convention
The 2008 Democratic National Convention will be the most inclusive and accessible Convention in party history. We intend to break down the walls of the Pepsi Center using technology and other means to engage more people in our Convention experience in more meaningful ways than ever before. And bloggers and other new media will play a big role in that effort.
But why wait until August to get involved?
Even before the Convention begins, the Democratic National Convention Committee is opening its doors to the online community. Watch this video to learn about some of the ways you can get involved with the 2008 Democratic National Convention Committee online.

I really appreciate all the information on the convention. This is my first time ever of getting involved in my part. I have been selected as a delegate for District 19 of Florida. It is so important to me that I make the most of this opportunity. We Floridians seem to be jinks lately when it comes to our votes "counting." I have invested a great deal of my time, energy and money because I believe strongly that my candidate is the only candidate really ready for what's waiting for our new democratic president.
I'm very serious about this position and my responsibiklites. But I am also looking forward to meeting nre people and making nre friends. My involvement may not be as much as I wouild like it to be because I've been batteling a rare from of cancer for 6 years and the treatment has taken a huge toll on my body and energy level. But it has not lowered my spirit at all, if anything I'm the most excited than I've ever been and can't wait to start doing something for our party. I haven't worked for the past 3 years and have plenty of time, just limited energy.
I have a suggestion: are we going to be developing a list of e-mail contacts with other delegates, and possibly cell phone numbers. We are an instant information society in a mobile world. Things can and do happen in a split second. Just a suggestion if it isn't already a part of the planning.
Thank you,
Sandy Wade
