DNCC Selects Denver Woman To Design Credentials For 2008 Democratic National Convention

A local woman has been selected to design the credentials for the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, the Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) announced today. Kristi King, an Arvada-based graphic designer, will incorporate images and landmarks reflecting Denver's rich history and diversity into the look of the credentials provided to delegates, members of the media and other guests during Convention week.

'Convention 101' Goes Online at DemConvention.com

The Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) today launched "Convention 101," a series of new web pages at DemConvention.com detailing the rules and mechanics governing the Democratic Party's nomination process. The extensive online content also includes an inside look at much of the Party business conducted at each and every Democratic National Convention. The 2008 Democratic National Convention will be held August 25-28, 2008 at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colo.

DNCC Takes 'Convention Conversations' Series to Colorado Springs

Just four months before the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, the Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) today held its seventh in a series of community forums focused on engaging citizens throughout the Rocky Mountain West in the Convention experience. Colorado Lieutenant Governor Barbara O'Brien and State Senator John Morse joined DNCC CEO Leah D. Daughtry to answer questions, offer information and discuss opportunities for Colorado Springs residents to get involved and for business owners to see economic benefits around the four-day event in August.
