Media Housing Requests

Requests were due by Thursday, February 29. If you would still like to make a request for housing, please email medialogistics@demconvention.com for an application. 

The Media Logistics team will follow up with your identified point of contact by the end of March with instructions to complete room block reservations with DNC-contracted hotels that will all be located within five miles of the United Center. 

There is a four-night minimum stay from Aug. 19-22, 2024, and all reservations need to be made by July 15, 2024.

To request DNC-contracted housing accommodations, please reference the below list.

Media are NOT required to stay at DNC-contracted hotels in order to cover the 2024 Democratic National Convention. All media must have a DNC credential to cover the convention.

Thursday, February 29: Media housing requests due (to make a late request, please email medialogistics@demconvention.com and ask for the application)

End of March: Media Logistics provides media points of contact instructions to book room block through contracted hotels

Monday, July 15: Reservations finalized through the room blocks by media points of contact

Wednesday, Aug. 14 through Sunday, Aug. 25: Window of reservations available (four-night minimum from Aug. 19-22)

Monday, Aug. 19 through Thursday, Aug. 22: The days of the 2024 Democratic National Convention and the minimum stay to request a room block

Price Range

Room rates will range in the mid-$300 to mid-$600. We will work to provide an affordable rate given the requests, size of requests, and room blocks available.
